Floris schoonderbeek (1979)
In 2002, the desire to reinvent and utilise public spaces led to probably his best known design: the Dutchtub. A mobile wood-fired hottub, produced in series for worldwide sale and rent. The art project ‘Shall we dance?’ - a 38 metre high electricity pylon transformed by Schoonderbeek in Doetinchem - is the perfect example of how he views his surroundings and makes this point of view widely accessible.
